FDLP LibGuides

There are three groups of guides in FDLP LibGuides- FDLP Information, Hot Topics, and Subject Guides. FDLP Information guides contain resources and guidance for depository libraries. These are intended to simplify your depository operations and help depository libraries provide services to their users. Hot Topics contain collections of guides on specific topics that are of current interest. These can include guides from any of the other groups. Subject Guides contain information about specific topics, including resource lists, search tips, and community guides.

FDLP Basic Collection

Core U.S. Government resources made available at all Federal depository libraries. Every day the U.S. Government issues congressional bills, laws, regulations, presidential documents, studies, and more on a variety of topics. The Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) was established by Congress to ensure that the American public has access to its Government's information.

USA.GOV

USAGov's mission is to make it easier for everyone to find and understand the government services and information they need—anytime, anywhere, any way they want. Partnering with federal agencies, this site reachs out to people where they are, to connect them with their government.

Catalog of U.S. Government Publications

The CGP is the finding tool for federal publications that includes descriptive information for historical and current publications as well as direct links to the full document, when available. Users can search by authoring agency, title, subject, and general keywords, or click on "Advanced Search" for more options. The catalog offers you the option to find a nearby Federal Depository Library that has a particular publication or that can provide expert assistance in finding and using related U.S. government information. 

Govinfo

Govinfo is free U.S. Government information for all. Govinfo is a service of the United States Government Publishing Office (GPO), which is a Federal agency in the legislative branch.. Govinfo provides free public access to official publications from all three branches of the Federal Government.
