Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

MeSH Browser

Search medical vocabulary with the MeSH Browser. The MeSH record view in the Details, Qualifiers, and MeSH Tree Structure tabs should satisfy all your basic needs if you are using MeSH to search and retrieve citations. Clicking on "Tree View" will allow you to browse the MeSH hierarchy from the broadest to the narrowest MeSH headings.
